The Lost BoysAug 27, 2010 I am not into the older vampire movies but really like the newer ones as they are more of a love story and not so gory.
Great Classic!Aug 23, 2010 This is one of the few movies my whole family enjoys. I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it. This is probably what inspired the Twilight series. It's just a great movie that you must own if you like vampire movies.
The Lost Boys are still funny , goofy funAug 16, 2010 people can say what they want about the notorious direction of Joel Schumacher but they must include this and "Flatliners" on his resume . both are pretty good and fun pictures . this one's a little too close to a music video (upon revisitation) to really merit much serious consideration for me . i won't deny though that i both bought it (for the modest price of several dollars) or that this viewing was my 4th or 5th . it's got a nice take on the whole Vampire thing . a game cast and lots of youthful casting and energy . everyone appears to have had a good time making it . while i favor say "Fright Night" , for a similar themed film of the 80's . this is a humorous and fun film that stirs good memories and offers up a lot of chuckles , good photography and neat atmosphere . the letterboxed aspect ratio (preserving the approximately 2.35.1) image is the way to go for optimal viewing pleasure . english subtitles included . gotta miss Corey Haim for this and "Silver Bullet" alone .
Poor quality transferJul 21, 2010 I am unhappy with the quality of the transfer. I could have done better from my vhs copy of this movie.
Save your money. It was truly almost unwatchable.
good qualityJul 13, 2010 was gonna rate 3 1/2 stars overall liked picture except widescreen and some parts could have been digitally remastered better.
