4Another enjoyable seasonApr 19, 2007
By Simon
This was the first season of Teen Titans that seemed to suffer in reviews across the web, but looking back its a fairly decent outing tainted by a few shortcomings.

The good is that the funny episodes (Bunny Raven, Revolution) continue to be amusing, while the Robin-centric episodes (X, Haunted) are still driven and intense. This season also marks the formation of Titans East, which helps expand the scope of the series a little more.

The bad is that the ongoing Brother Blood storyline (which really only amounts to 4 episodes) kinda falls flat, especially compared to the strong Slade/Terra arcs before it. The two Starfire-centric episodes are also duds.

Really, the biggest strike against season 3 is that by now, it's just offering more of the same. You can predict what happens with a Raven episode, or a Cyborg episode. With all of Teen Titans' wackiness, the series recycles its own formulas. But if you can accept that, season 3 is worth picking up.

4Season Three Review of Teen TitansApr 12, 2007
By Tim Coogan "CN fan"
Okay, listen and listen good.

This is the third and next season of episodes of that superheroic team of anime-esque adolecents, the Teen Titans. This slew of episodes includes "Deception" (the one where Cyborg infiltrates the HIVE academy), "X" (featuring the return of Red X, Robin's evil alter ego, except it's not really Robin now), "Betrothed" (the Titans head to Tamaran for Starfire's wedding, or so they thought), "Haunted" (Robin is seeing Slade, but not the others), "Spellbound" (Raven's new book literally comes to life), "Can I Keep Him?" (Starfire looks after a larvae from Killer Moth), and "Titans East" (introducing the new team of Titans: Speedy, Aqualad, Bumblebee, and Mas y Menos).

Look for the special feature "Know Your Foes" on here. This feature has a list of the villians the Titans encountered in the third season ranging from sinister, like Brother Blood and Professor Chang, to silly, like Mad Mod and Mumbo Jumbo. Also there's a hidden feature called "One Show, Two Themes". A nifty little feature about the show's theme song depending on the "mood" of the episode. (See my "inference" on my "Switched" DVD review.)

If the third season is that good, I wonder when season four will come out ?

5Teen Titans- The Complete Third Season........Jul 15, 2008
By blackaciddevil
Teen Titans- The Complete Third Season sees the Titans going up against Slade yet again as well as Brother Blood. This season ranges from the very humorous(Bunny Raven, Revolution) to the more intense(Deception, Haunted, X, Titans East). Yet, what I like most is the special feature-Know your Foe- which is a list of the villians the Titans encountered in the third season; like Brother Blood, Professor Chang, Mad Mod and Mumbo Jumbo. I wish they would have more special features on these DVDs like Season 1, that would give me more incentive to buy them. As it stands, though, I'm happy with what I'm given.

Season Three is actually pretty good, Probably the best season thus far. Definitely worth getting if I were you.

5An Excellent, Family Friendly AnimeDec 31, 2009
By Scott Asher "ashertopia"
I started buying the Teen Titans series on DVD for my kids because they started expressing an interest in comic books. Having been a collector from childhood through college I was eager to pass my love of superheroes on and Teen Titans looked clean enough that I wouldn't have to worry. I was right.

Each season is clean, intelligent fun. Moral choices are shown along with consequences and there is a clear good or evil differentiation. The characters look great and the stories don't lag. I like that the episodes continue the overall storyline as well.

And you can't beat the price on Amazon!

If you are looking for a great superhero show for your family Teen Titans is a great place to start.

5As good as everJul 04, 2007

This show is a clever cartoon that appeals to kids and adults alike. That is to say the kid in all of us as well as to the grown up part in some ways as well.I watch it with my two kids and enjoy it almost as much as they do. As with any series there are varying qualities of episodes throughout, but I think this season maintains interest/excitement as well as the first two seasons did.The "Revolution" episode is my favourite and is a great example of the all-age appeal of this show.I do hope that seasons four and five will be released (sooner rather than later)as this cartoon is equal to or better in quality than the other stuff out there for kids(and yes, adults too).
